Founded in 1998 by a local farmers’ cooperative, the company’s mission was to make better use of the textile industry’s short fibre. In 2008, the company diversified its customer portfolio and broadened its field of activity. Another change in its strategy led Eco-Technilin to diversify its activities by capturing and retaining the added value created locally from agricultural resources. Since then, Eco-Technilin has merged its activities with the start-up Linéo to present a structured and comprehensive range of composites products and opened a new factory in Poland to support the growth of its customers in Eastern Europe. Eco-Technilin is known in the natural fibre composite community for their FlaxTape®, a uni-directional fibre arrangement.
