Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale Srl SB, headquartered in Bergamo, has been a global leader in sustainable, European production of refined linen and hemp yarns for 150 years. With 950 employees across facilities in Italy, Lithuania, and Tunisia, it produces 5,000 tons of yarn annually. Owned by the Marzotto Group, 60% of its sales are domestic. The company has participated in European projects like SSUCHY and excels in hemp and flax fiber production and spinning technology.
Main task(s) in SSUCHY-Next
Linificio will further develop its expertise with hemp by producing woven and quasi-UD fabrics and contribute its know-how in processing Liberian fibre.
